TRAVEL TO MONGOLIA - experience the fascinating nomadic culture of Mongolia, enjoying the summer Naadam festival with horse racing, wrestling and archery competitions. Marvel at the vast steppe, dramatic mountains, and desert and forest landscapes.Soldiers on horseback, sometimes dressed in Chinggis Khan Warrior’s regalia, formally receive the nine white horsetail banners at the Parliament House where they are normally displayed.
Then they will ride in procession through the city to later place the banners in the center of the National Stadium, from here you will be viewing the Opening Ceremony.At the Stadium, a huge procession is held including hundreds of adults and children dressed in costumes representing Mongolia’s numerous ethnic groups.
1 July, DAY:1 ARRIVAL IN ULAANBAATAR, MONGOLIA
You will be welcomed at Chinggis Khaan International Airport and transferred to your hotel upon arrival. Take refreshments and the tour briefing is followed by dinner.

2-4 July, DAY:2-4 THE GOBI DESERT
You are staying at the camp for four nights!
Visit Yol Valley.
The Yol Valley (Lammergeier’s Gorge), a picturesque place is nestled between the beautiful peaks of the Gurvan Saikhan Mountain and shelters rich wildlife. Visit the Gobi Museum and trek through the valley.
The Bulgan village, one of the 330 villages in Mongolia, likewise nomad people come in to get their groceries, medical attention, banking services, and so on.
The Khavtsgait Petroglyphs.
The geological composition of Khavtsgait mountain rocks is sandstone. As a result of the hot sun and strong wind for millions of years, the rock surfaces of Khavtsgait Mountain are colored black, and it is easy to draw on them with any item, leaving light marks. Considering the similarity with other rock paintings and their forms and shapes, researchers believed that the petroglyphs were created about 4000-5000 years ago. It was from the mid and late Bronze Age to the early Iron Age. Professionals determine the age of petroglyphs by the depth of marks, mosses grown on a rock, and the color of a rock, which only archeological professionals can do.

Ride a camel through dunes or explore on foot. Visit a nomad family in the Gobi Desert.
The Flaming Cliffs
Visit the local museum at the cliffs and then enjoy watching the sunset. This is where dinosaurs lived 70 million years ago and is internationally famous for its dinosaur remains, including complete skeletons, eggs, and hatchlings from the Cretaceous Period.

5 July, DAY:5 ONGI RIVER
Travel to Ongi River where you will stay overnight and visit a small local temple.

6-7 July, DAY:6-7 TRAVEL TO KARAKHORUM
Travel to Karakorum which is the ancient capital of Mongolia where Chinggis Khan established his headquarters in 1220. In 1235, Ogodei, his son and successor, built a palace there enclosed by walls. You will visit the newly built Karakorum Museum and ErdeneZuu monastery, the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist temple complex built on the remains of 16th-century Karakorum city.

8 July, DAY:8 TRAVEL TO MONGOL NOMADIC
Travel to Mongol Nomadic camp and experience the traditional lifestyle of the Mongols in the back days.

9 July, DAY:9 TRAVEL TO ULAANBAATAR
Travel back to Ulaanbaatar and go to the main square, to experience the Deeltei Mongol show ( a traditional costume show) and back to hotel check-in at 2.00 p.m. A Traditional fol concert is followed by dinner in a Mongolian restaurant.

11 July, DAY:11 OPENING CEREMONY OF NAADAM FESTIVAL
A.M. Toward the main square on foot to see the official 9 banners carried on horseback by state-honored soldiers from Parliament House to the central stadium. Get on the bus and drive to the stadium to watch the opening ceremony and picnic lunch inside it. Discover more about archery and ankle bone shooting competitions outside of the central stadium. Farewell dinner.
